- A global leader in finance is searching for an experienced regulatory/legal professional to join them as a Compliance Consultant. In this position, you will provide risk and compliance relative advice and training with a goal of mitigating operational risks in Japan.

【１２００万円ー１６００万円】Compliance Consultant at a leading global investment bankResponsibilities:
* Develop and enhance an effective compliance and operational risk management infrastructure in Japan to accommodate regulatory requirements and mitigate compliance/operational risks
* Implement and administer compliance and operational risk management control systems and procedures as well as monitoring programmes for all "banking business" activity
* Provide comprehensive compliance and operational risk advisory support for current and new business initiatives as well as the integration or rationalization of businesses in Japan
* Interact with regulatory authorities with respect to licensing, ongoing conduct requirements and new business initiatives; lead the management of internal and external regulatory audits
* Develop and deliver compliance training to enhance awareness and knowledge of applicable laws and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree
* 10+ years' relevant experience including regulatory, financial crime and operational risk management gained in an international financial centre; legal or regulatory background is an advantage
* Experience with double-hatting or an interlocked environment is an advantage
* Up to date knowledge of banking laws and regulations in Japan including the banking act, KYC law, foreign exchange and foreign trade law, etc.
* Sound understanding of the operational of international financial markets and the purpose/importance of effective regulatory oversight, risk management and corporate governance
