【Negotiable】Responsibilities:
AVP Compliance role @ global financial services company
* Plan and execute various compliance initiatives while serving in a leadership role
* Plan and execute compliance training
* Provide technical support for local compliance needs as required
* Support compliance efforts outside of jurisdiction and region as needed
* Communicate with stakeholders in articulating compliance requirements as needed
Requirements:
* A BA or higher in business, law, or other finance related discipline
* Qualified or licensed in law, accounting, or compliance highly desirable
* 5+ years' experience in one of the following - compliance officer, regulatory affairs, internal audit, legal, or combination thereof, at a global financial institution
* A licensed attorney or foreign attorney practicing in an Asia Pacific jurisdiction
* Legal experience in a finance related sector preferred
* Japanese and English proficiency
* Can work well under pressure
