The candidate selected for this role will collaborate with account managers to deliver high level support to major customers.Responsibilities:
* Maintain an open dialog with customer engineering departments, especially engineers responsible for valve train designs
* Manage customer projects; visit major customers and provide support as required
* Work independently but in cooperation with account managers to service customer needs; provide an authoritative voice for the engineering and design of valves and valve train components
* Maintain a superior level of competence and expertise related to engine operation and applications
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering; master's degree or professional engineering certification preferred
* Knowledge of the environment and functions of internal combustion engine valves
* Familiarity with metalworking and valve manufacturing processes
* Good interpersonal communication and customer facing skills
