- An excellent Legal Counsel opportunity has recently emerged at a global pharmaceutical company. The applicant selected for this role will be qualified to practice law in Japan, the U.S., or any Commonwealth jurisdiction and demonstrate fluency in Japanese and English. As Legal Counsel you will lead the delivery and management of legal and compliance support for operations in Japan.

外資系製薬メーカーのIn houseリーガルカウンセル
＊弁護士資格保持者
＊日英 流暢～ネイティブレベル要
＊外資系企業での5年以上の経験必須
* Proactively provide and manage advice on legal rights, responsibilities, and strategies
* Provide legal and strategic support and resources to the business leadership team and all business functions
* Negotiate, draft, and/or review all contracts
* Provide support and advice on legal disputes
* Contribute to the overall culture of the business, including ensuring productive and collaborative relationships with other company legal departments, affiliates, and functions to maximise performance
Requirements:
* Admitted to practice in Japan, the U.S., or any Commonwealth jurisdiction, plus a university degree and legal degree
* Japanese and English fluency
* 5-7 years' experience at an international corporation or law firm or equivalent combination of education and experience, within the pharmaceutical industry
* Corporate legal experience preferred
* Strong experience negotiating and drafting corporate agreements
