A leading international consulting and technology group is searching for a seasoned corporate law professional. As Legal Support Counsel, you will ensure that this multinational business is well equipped to deal with any legal challenges it may face, implementing anti-corruption and other legal policies as appropriate.
仕事内容
A leading consulting and technology group is searching for a seasoned corporate law professional. An ideal candidate must be a Japanese/ENG bilingual
Responsibilities:

* Assist the geographic legal support lead to organize and maintain local legal compliance in japan through adequate, relevant and proportionate action plans
* Anticipate and support the local needs of corporate functions, in particular, procurement, finance, marketing and tax
* Assist the geographic legal support lead to foster seamlessly integrated relationships with other core legal teams as well as all other legal contracting services in Japan
* Support and assist the geographic legal support lead to implement the global anti-corruption compliance program in Japan
* Serve as a trusted business partner to business leaders and corporate functions regarding important issues affecting Japan with focus on early intervention and proactive shaping of solutions

Requirements:

* Legal degree or JD from a reputable law school; admission as a lawyer in Japan, the USA or a commonwealth jurisdiction is preferred
* 7+ years' experience as an attorney in a corporate law department or law firm
* Good knowledge of or ability to easily interpret relevant laws in Japan (including those pertaining to compliance); sound judgement, ability to prioritize and make decisions and a high level of common sense
* Ability to present, innovative, original solutions and act as a strategic thinker
* Fluency in both Japanese (ability to revise and draft Japanese contracts and advise internal clients in the Japanese language) and English
