- An international fashion icon is searching for an experienced professional with a background in finance to join them as an Accountant. In this position, the successful candidate will manage the full range of accounting tasks including closing, journal entries and reconciliations among others.

The successful candidate will manage the full range of accounting tasks including closing, journal entries and reconciliations among others.Responsibilities:
* Handle full sets of accounts including monthly closing, preparation and posting of journal entries to accounting systems and reconciliation of receivables, payables, bank, inventory, etc.
* Perform daily finance and accounting operations covering general accounting, payment (AP) and receipt (AR) functions including payments and invoice processing
* Prepare financial, management, ageing and other ad-hoc reports on a timely basis, including appropriate analysis and commentary relating to issues/information of particular interest to management
* Review and establish financial control processes and ensure effective implementation
* Take on other duties and projects (cost review, stock taking, new system implementation, etc.) as designed
Requirements:
* Diploma in finance/accountancy
* 5+ years' work experience in a related field
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and common accounting systems in Japan
* Strong management, communication and interpersonal skills
