An international science-based company is recruiting a talented Application Development Manager to join its team.Responsibilities:
* Implement (AD) projects and lead validation of new projects (at customer sites)
* Support AMs and BDMs in obtaining technical approvals from customers/end users
* Translate customer requirements into product specifications; recommend existing products or, if needed, draw up product development specifications
* Develop and describe application knowledge (e.g., application datasheets, value propositions)
* Identify and report on commercial opportunities from the market
Requirements:
* A BA, MA, or equivalent experience in science or technology
* In-depth knowledge of products and/or applications
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Actual engineering experience, including such techniques as CAE, within the automotive industry
* Actual employment experience at an auto maker or auto parts maker in the same field is advantageous
* Work experience at an overseas company and/or live abroad experience advantageous, as is English proficiency and understanding of multiculturalism
* Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
* Experience using relevant PC functions for presentations to customers
