A banking firm is currently recruiting for the role of Assistant Vice President of Country Compliance.Responsibilities:
* Provide practical guidelines on the proper application and interpretation of regulatory principles, rules, and internal policies
* Assist businesses in the development and maintenance of robust control procedures for all regulated business activities
* Conduct compliance reviews on the adequacy of control processes within the business
* Assist senior management by serving as the primary supporting contact with external regulators
Requirements:
* A BA
* Comprehensive understanding of local regulations
* Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Native level Japanese with strong written English fluency
* Project management skills
* Legal study background preferred
