An IT company is looking for a seasoned sales executive with a strong track record of success to assume the senior role of Country Manager.Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage a sales organization capable of achieving success with a competitive portfolio of mid-range and enterprise data protection hardware and software
* Accountable for all the company branded systems (tape automation and disk appliance) revenue in the sales territory area
* Manage territory relationships with end user customers and prospect, channel partners, and strategic alliance partners
* Lead efforts with the marketing team to develop an area marketing plan and budget to support the objectives of the team
* Conduct performance reviews, coaching, counselling, recruiting, and termination when necessary
Requirements:
* A proven sales executive with a track record of success, who can demonstrate the ability to develop and deliver revenue growth with mid-market and large corporate and user accounts
* A strong people manager and motivator who can positively impact sales
* An excellent communicator
* A business person with the energy and drive to successfully embrace both existing market expansion and emerging solutions growth
* Strong leadership skills
* A minimum of 10 years' experience, including at least 5 years' experience in a sales management role
* Excellent technical skills
