A leading international law firm is searching for an individual with a long history in finance to joint them in the position of Finance Manager.Responsibilities:
* Ensure accurate financial data is available by set deadlines at the office, regional and firm-wide levels (e.g. monthly reporting)
* Prepare the annual budget and mid-year projections; work closely with other offices and meet tight deadlines
* Ensure that the business planning and budgeting process is proactively used to drive profitability
* Ensure proper and timely working capital management; oversee time recording, billing, collections, treasury management and other receivables/payables
* Provide routine and ad-hoc financial data to partners and managers
* Perform other reporting and financial tasks as required
Requirements:
* 15+ years' finance experience; 5+ years' managerial experience
* Previous experience in a law or professional services firm
* Strong background in both financial and management accounting and reporting
* Good understanding of Japanese taxes and accounting processes
