- A leading international automotive manufacturer is searching for a deeply experienced financial professional to join them in the role of Senior Accountant. In this position, the successful candidate will collaborate with global teams to deliver smooth financial reporting and accounting processes.

Responsibilities:
* Partner with the APAC service center to produce timely and accurate financial statements for Japan, using US GAAP as well as J GAAP
* Assist with the overall operation and reporting for the accounting department in Japan
* Prepare financial reports by compiling information, preparing profit and loss statements and utilizing appropriate accounting control procedures
* Drive business results through analysis and project management
* Develop-department-level financial forecasts for operating expenses and capital expenditures utilizing inputs from department managers and project-focused spending plans
Requirements:
* 10+ years' professional finance experience
* Accounting qualification (CA/CPA); with Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
* Knowledge of finance, Japanese tax environment and the full accounting process
* Ability to create detailed financial models
