- A strong leader with a background in finance is needed at a growing international biotechnology firm. In the position of Finance Manager, the successful candidate will support a range of accounting procedures from invoices to tax and reporting.

Responsibilities:
* Provide overall leadership to accounting functions, including general and transactional accounting and payroll activities
* Lead the process for preparing monthly and quarter end financial statements
* Develop controls for invoice processing, cash management, expenses and purchase orders
* Assist the group controller with research and implementation of complex accounting issues, including revenue recognition
* Support the filing of Japanese tax returns and other Japanese tax documents
* Support forecasting and reporting activities led by the financial planning and analysis group
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance
* SAP ECC/R3 experience
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams independently
* Medical technology, speciality pharmaceutical or durable medical equipment experience is preferred
* Excellent written and oral presentation skills in Japanese and English
