募集背景: A chemical company is looking for an experienced manager with chemical industry experience to join them as Commercial Manager (spray polyurethane foam). This role will see you aligning with global automotive strategy to grow the automotive business and building, leading, and managing the Japan PU organization to develop and capture SPF market opportunities.

仕事内容: Responsibilities:

* Act as automotive GAC Japanese account coordinator and align with the global automotive strategy to define and implement business development plans
* Coordinate with each country commercial team in APAC to define Japanese transplant business plans in line with APAC automotive strategy
* Lead the Japan PU organization to identify and develop business in all sectors for high margin, differentiated products
* Ensure ongoing profitability of existing and newly acquired accounts in Japan within the overall business strategy of value-based price setting and full understanding of raw material, production, and distribution costs
* Ensure appropriate market intelligence in the relevant markets and report on these from time to time

Requirements:

* At least 8 years' relevant post graduate experience in the chemical industry with broad understanding of the polyurethane industry as well as strong understanding of marketing and financial concepts
* Previous demonstrated experience in marketing and business development in technical sales
* Skilled at identifying and developing relationships with key decision makers in order to deliver challenging growth objectives while maintaining strong customer relationships
* Ability to lead initiatives and projects in the difficult start-up phase and retain commitment of personnel from other functions and countries
* A solid command of English and Japanese plus cultural sensitivity
