- A leading international business technology provider is searching for a professional with experience in digital functional verification and emulation to join them as the Application Engineering Manager. In this position, you will manage a pre-sales application engineering team as they develop solutions to expand a global business.

Responsibilities:
* Manage the pre-sales application engineering team while being a hands-on contributor
* Provide leadership and management for a team of application engineers (AEs) supporting pre-sales and deployment activities; work on business plans, monitor performance and drive achievement
* Work closely with regional sales management, account teams and customers to understand current business opportunities and identify future potential
* Act as the coordinator between R&D team, field technical solution team, customer engineering team and the customer operations team
* Provide input for the technical sales plan; coordinate and benchmark support and support initial customer deployment based on the technical sales plan
* Analyse customer applications to determine if a technical support 'fit' exists and recommend solutions to issues with products or application integration
Requirements:
* BSEE, BSCS or equivalent; MSEE preferred
* 5+ years' experience in digital functional verification and emulation
* Ability to manage conflict across customers, sales channels and products
* Technical expertise for a broad range of products spanning a complete design flow or technology area in digital functional verification
* A results-oriented mindset
