- A facilities services company is recruiting for the position of Senior Accountant. Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Accountant will provide accurate and timely financial results based on IFRS as well as manage the day-to-day functions of the finance department including statutory reporting and management of treasury, taxation, and more. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years' experience in a similar role, CPA preferred.

Responsibilities:
* Provide financial oversight of Japan entities
* Establish and manage reporting systems
* Ensure general ledger accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis
* Liaison with auditors, legal, insurance, and other advisors
* Manage, develop, and coach the profit center team
Requirements:
* 5+ years' experience in a similar, or substantially similar role (IFRS preferred)
* Prior proven experience at a senior accountant level in a matrix organization
* A degree in accounting
* CPA or CA preferred
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
