- A leading global chemical organization is searching for a talented salesperson with chemical industry experience to join their team in Japan as the Senior Sales Manager. In this position, you will manage all aspects of the sales function within the Japanese market.

Responsibilities:
* Manage accounts within an assigned market segment and perform all aspects of the sales function, including technical services; develop volume and revenue forecasts and sales plan strategies for achieving desired results
* Effectively communicate and negotiate complex sales contracts with customers; educate customers on new products and product enhancements
* Develop marketing and sales strategies for the territory or region; identify opportunities for increasing sales and/or new business; develop and implement plans and programs
* Identify and develop potential internal and external strategic partner opportunities; work closely with cross-functional counterparts (marketing/sales, finance, R&D, legal, manufacturing, corporate/business strategy) and provide project leadership
* Maintain knowledge of the company's technical capabilities, applications and benefits to the customer
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree; MBA desirable
* 7+ years' chemical industry sales experience
* Deep knowledge about markets and applications in which the company's products have value
* A results-driven mindset
* Strong communication skills; Japanese and English language ability
