- Reporting to the APAC Sales Director at this global consumer goods materials company, the successful candidate who takes on this exciting Sales Representative role will engage in all efforts to increase sales and profitability in the Japan market, create strategy, and contribute to overall business effectiveness. The ideal candidate has 3 years' B2B experience and solid English conversational skills.

Responsibilities:
* Work with APAC R&D/APAC Sales Director closely to identify customer opportunities and develop R&D partnerships with clients
* Apply technical and product strategy; propose technical marketing activities locally approved by the Sales Manager
* Take leadership on the management of the defined list of customers; define the pricing sales policy and sales conditions
* Stay on top of the local competition and market information
* Answer technical queries and provide solutions; develop effective relationships with external contacts
Requirements:
* A university graduate
* At least 3 years' experience in a B2B environment, preferably experience working collaboratively with customers on projects and understanding the entire product development process
* A solid command of conversational and written English communication skills
* Potential and willingness to develop into a senior sales & marketing function
* Highly driven with excellent interpersonal skills; a natural influencer
