- An accounting professional is needed at a major international automotive component manufacturer. As the Accounting Manager, the successful candidate will oversee accounting activities and budgeting processes using their strong financial expertise and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
* Manage monthly/quarterly/yearly closing activities
* Structure and improve the efficiency of the accounting team; establish a clear team structure and allocate responsibility through job description for each team member
* Contribute to budget and mid term plan process; prepare balance sheets and provide accounting elements needed for P&L and cash flow statements
* Promote accounting improvements and controllership spirit across the group; update accounting practice to latest standards and propose group accounting rules improvement as well as case by case review of affiliated companies' financials
Requirements:
* Accounting or finance university degree; accounting certification preferred (Japanese GAAP)
* 15+ years' accounting and finance experience, preferably within a Japanese industrial company with 5 years' management experience
* Strong leadership skills; ability to organize teamwork and interface with top management/external parties
* Strong business mindset
* Native level Japanese and basic English skills
