- A Business Development Manager role has arisen at a Europe-based chemical company with a solid presence in Japan. This is a great chance for an experienced professional capable of leading new business and innovation projects. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to travel internationally.

Responsibilities:
* Establish new business relationships with target industry
* Identify potential customers and decision makers within customer organizations
* Work closely with the business innovation team and local/global business representatives to develop new business proposals
* Facilitate growth projects as project manager or implementation manager
* Create and compile company profiles to support M&A opportunities
Requirements:
* An advanced degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or equivalent; a degree in business administration a plus
* Several years' experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication, presentation, and persuading skills
* Ability to grow, maintain, and leverage customers and institutional network in Japan and key stakeholders (local and global)
* Familiarity with basic financial principles
* An excellent command of English, written and spoken
