- Working with the Marketing Communications team, the Media Relations Associate will contribute strategically to build and manage a proactive media relations program focused on engaging key media to promote and protect the company's business and brand in Japan.

Responsibilities:
* Develop a media relations plan to address opportunities and threats to the business, drive awareness, and manage perceptions
* Target clients, prospective clients, key influencers, and opinion leaders
* Collaborate closely with global media relations personnel who are responsible for media relations at the regional level
* Maintain relationships with vendors to develop external communications strategy including PR, speaking opportunities, events, and digital communications
Requirements:
* A bachelor's degree or equivalent
* 3+ years' relevant experience in financial services
* Strong oral and written communication skills, English and Japanese
* Highly organized with the ability to work independently within the firm's dynamic environment
* Excellent interpersonal skills; able to interact effectively with other senior level employees and outside contacts
