To succeed in this position you should have prior experience with Japanese car makers and will be tasked with executing new business development and managing the interface between the company and the customer.

Responsibilities:
* Maintain current programs and develop new business with the customer
* Create/lead global strategic planning; execute new business development based on company strategy
* Manage the interface between the company and the customer
* Manage sales/commercial negotiations for assigned programs
* Oversee total value management activities for all assigned programs
Requirements:
* A bachelor's degree (engineering preferred) from a four-year college or university
* A minimum of 5-7 years' experience with Japanese car makers
* A proven successful track record in commercial/business as a Tier 1 supplier
* Able to maintain/foster good relationships with customers at senior level
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Global program management skills
* Some domestic and international travel required
