- A multinational manufacturing organization is searching for an individual with strong knowledge of the legislative sphere to take up the exciting position of Government Relations Manager. In this position, the selected candidate will actively participate in the legislative process.

Responsibilities:
* Act as a liaison for the company with governments at all levels within Japan on key issues relevant to the company
* Manage subset of issues and process for the company's business unit(s), products, and/or companywide issues
* Actively participate in the legislative process and provide information to regulators regarding issues and strategies important to the company
* Partner with businesses to develop government relations strategies related to specific product initiatives and/or business imperatives
* Actively seek government tax and incentive opportunities
Requirements:
* Working experience within state or federal government, corporation and/or consulting focused on government relations
* Expert knowledge on the legislative process
* Personal presence, communication skills and credibility necessary to effectively interact with and influence enterprise management as well as work with a diverse group of highly motivated professionals
* Demonstrable record of providing clients with advice that blends government relations experience expert legislative
