An opportunity has emerged for a candidate with strong knowledge in natural sciences and excellent communication skills to join one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies in the role of Alliance Manager and Senior Scientist. This position involves strategic relationship building and is the perfect position for an individual with a talent for presenting information in an engaging manner.
Responsibilities:
oDevelop and drive the external innovation strategy for Japan in accordance with the company's global plan
oManage and guide collaborations and partnership initiatives; establish good, trustful relationships with partners
oPerform landscape analysis on target indications, universities, institutions and bio-venture companies in Japan
oIntroduce the company's services to innovation related organizations (i.e. universities and academic institutions) in Japan
oInterface with stakeholders for innovation in Japan
Requirements:
oPhD or MD in natural science
oKnowledge and experience in pharmaceutical R&D, research in academia or business development
oExcellent verbal and written communication skills; presentation skills in both Japanese and English
oMastery of Japanese language; ability to engage with academic centres in Japanese
