Responsibilities:
Assess and support project requirements to optimize how resources ($ and FTEs) are allocated and/or invested across studies and line functions
Provide robust input (internal and external) to Global Oncology Development Finance so budget/MA/LO can be submitted on a timely basis per communicated deadlines
Perform variance analysis of budgets/cost (internal and external) on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis to identify problems and lead actions
Ensure productivity savings are in line with agreed upon methodology, and report to Global Oncology Development Finance regularly
Act as the initial point of contact for the oncology development team regarding finance support, financial training, and troubleshooting
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or equivalent combination or work and/or experience
English and Japanese fluency
5+ years in a similar corporate role in finance planning, controlling, and operation with cross-functional experience
A team player able to work effectively in a global organization
Strong working knowledge of SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint
