Responsibilities:
Take charge of all accounting/tax processes; ensure compliance with local, states, and federal reporting requirements
Direct and coordinate financial planning and budget management functions
Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget/forecast, including monthly reporting to the Group Controlling Department
Manage the preparation of quarterly reporting, financial forecasts and budgets
Oversee financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements
Requirements:
A master's degree in accounting (CPA), plus 3-5 years' experience in a similar position at a small company, ideally within retail
Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles
Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
Familiarity with federal and state financial regulations
Able to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
