[Description]
This Employee Relations Manager performs professional level labor relations work in the area of labor contract interpretation and administration, labor practice, progressive discipline, and supervisory training. Develops implements and coordinates personnel and labor relations activities for management and employee representatives. Activities include, but are not limited to: analysis and arbitration of management issues, investigation of non compliance case, work rule change planning and administration, grievance handling, supervisor training, unemployment compensation hearings, employee occupational job changes and Labor Agreement interpretation. Assures consistency in the administration of HR Policies/Work rules, other policies/rules of the company, and labor related statutory requirement. Implements programs for conciliation and mediation.

[Qualifications]
Education: Bachelor’s Degree/ Course of Study/Major: Business, Human Resources, and/or a related field of study
Related Work Experience:
・6-8 years experience in Human Resources with an emphasis on customer service.
・Experience with all varieties of HR issues with a tactical, hands-on approach.
・Experience with labor laws implications to work field with individual bargaining
・Able to effectively work with business partners and provide expertise with HR issues.
・Able to operate independently, understanding when to escalate issues.
