Technical Sales Consultant is responsible for providing business development, winning new name business and
developing a small number of strategic accounts.
You will have experience in relevant industries with an appreciation of the business models and organisational
structures which are typically to be found. You must know how to discover a customer’s problems with their
existing processes and translate these into a value proposition which shows the customer the benefits of
implementing new processes and tools. You must be skilled and confident winning new name business from the
initial approach through to closure and at ease working closely with a highly dedicated and qualified technical team
and sales operations team.
This is a client facing role that requires a self-motivated individual capable of building strong technical relationships with major customers, and who has strong communication and persuasion skills along with excellent process, industry and technical knowledge.

- 必須
-
• minimum of 8 years’ business development and sales experience selling software and/or consulting services to the relevant markets.
• Qualified to at least undergraduate degree level of science or engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering.
• You must be able to demonstrate an ability to translate technical benefits into business benefits.
• Self-driven and self-motivated entrepreneurial mindset with exceptional interpersonal skills combined with strong organisational and analytical skills that can be leveraged in a small business environment
• Excellent oral and written Japanese language skills. Fluency in English is also essential.
• Willing to travel within APAC and occasionally EMEA for up to two weeks per quarter on average.
