• Providing local country support for direct and indirect taxes perspective regarding the execution of business transactions
• Providing direct and indirect tax support on new business initiatives, contracts and M&A
• Developing, maintaining, and delivering guidance on the correct treatment of direct and indirect taxes for financial statement purposes
• Assisting with the analysis of direct and indirect tax technical issues that impact the group
• Evaluating the financial statement impact of direct and indirect taxes in accordance with US GAAP

• Effectively analyze and communicate complex and/or technical issues to non-tax
• Good Leadership skills; Strong People Management Skills, Good analytical skills
• Solid understanding of Japan direct and indirect taxes compliance reporting. Regional tax
experience will be an advantage
• Proactive and self-motivated nature, capable of taking ownership and responsibility for direct and indirect taxes
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and initiative
• Ability to build strong working relationships with a diverse range of co-workers and other
