A renowned hospitality company is seeking a Director of Human Resources.Responsibilities:
* Advise the General Manager, Executive Committee and ownership representatives on strategic HR matters
* Lead performance management, compensation, employee relations, succession planning and workforce planning
* Embed and govern HR systems while ensuring their consistent and sustainable operation
* Lead fair and merit-based processes for internal mobility, promotion and external recruitment
* Lead and develop the hotel HR team while maintaining strong HR governance
Requirements:
* Prior HR leadership experience at HR Director, Head of HR or equivalent level
* Experience within an international luxury or upper-upscale hotel environment
* Prior experience with senior executives and ownership or corporate stakeholders
* Understanding of Japanese labor law and employment practices
* Fluent level Japanese and English
Preferred requirements:
* Experience in a franchised, owner-managed or decentralised environment
* Prior experience developing, modifying or embedding HR systems
* Proven experience overseeing significant HR transformation or organisational change
* Previous experience overseeing established employee-representative or employee-association relationships
* Background in hospitality and other international business environments
