The selected candidate will lead consolidated closing, IFRS transition, global accounting standardisation, M&A integration, internal controls, and finance transformation initiatives across Japan and overseas operations. This is a hybrid setup role.

A global aerospace company is looking for an Accounting Manager.Responsibilities:
* Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated closing processes
* Drive the IFRS transition project and global accounting standardisation
* Oversee consolidation of global entities, including newly acquired businesses
* Lead accounting integration for M&A activities, including purchase price allocation support and post-merger integration
* Strengthen internal controls, governance, and compliance frameworks
* Partner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and business teams globally
* Improve accounting processes and systems, including SAP upgrades and automation initiatives
* Drive finance transformation initiatives within a private equity-owned environment
* Work closely with finance teams and stakeholders in Japan and overseas
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* More than 5 years of experience in accounting, ideally in manufacturing or industrial sectors
* Strong knowledge of IFRS with practical experience in accounting standards
* Solid accounting fundamentals with the ability to interpret accounting standards and articulate accounting positions
* Experience working in global consolidation and multi-entity environments
* Business level Japanese and English
Preferred requirements:
* Experience in IFRS conversion
* Exposure to M&A, integration, or due diligence
* Possess a valid CPA, Nissho Boki Level 2+, or equivalent certification
