A global energy company is looking for a Legal Manager.Responsibilities:
* Manage corporate governance records, statutory documents, registers, and filings
* Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements for energy projects and business transactions
* Advise on project development, real estate, procurement, and other commercial legal matters
* Handle disputes, claims, and litigation in coordination with external counsel
* Monitor regulatory developments and ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies
* Support international legal matters related to the company's expansion across Asia
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in law (Master's degree in law is a plus)
* Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
* Prior experience in handling corporate legal affairs, including litigation and dispute resolution (in coordination with external counsel is ideal)
* Understanding of Japanese laws and regulations
* Possess valid Attorney at Law (Bengoshi), Judicial Scrivener (Shiho-shoshi), or other relevant certifications
* Professional level Japanese; business level English
Preferred requirements:
* Experience in the renewable energy industry, real estate sector, or M&A transactions
