Senior Manager - Cloud Management Department (CMD)Position Details
Rakuten Group, Inc. is expanding rapidly both from the size of business and diversity of business perspectives. To keep up with this rapid growth and changes of business, CPSD are always facing new challenges to scale our cloud capacity and adding new cloud capabilities while properly controlling the risk, resources and quality. We are a growing team with approximately 40, mainly in Tokyo and Bengaluru.
As a Senior Manager of the CMD, you will be responsible for defining the cloud product portfolio strategy, planning the strategic investment allocation to cloud products both private and public, and executing major strategic initiatives through program/project management team.
Your goal is to transfer and maintain our cloud product offerings as the best hybrid cloud portfolio in the world from scalability, agility, quality and cost efficiency perspectives.

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or above degree.
- Experience in Cloud platform industry (over 10 years).
- Experience in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams (over 5 years).
- Good understanding of Cloud industry, technology and DevOps process.
- Reasonable understanding of ROI based decision making process and basic accounting.
- Previous leadership and management experience of a mid size organization (at least 10, ideally more than 20 members) in a tech company.
- Outstanding people manager with the ability to influence and grow direct, indirect reports and peers.
Desired Qualifications:
