A global hospitality company is looking for a Finance Manager.Responsibilities:
* Manage accounting operations across AP, AR, GL, cash management, and month-end closing
* Review financial reports, reconciliations, journal entries, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
* Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting, tax, audit, legal, and regulatory requirements
* Oversee cash flow, credit, collections, vendor payments, statutory payments, and payroll coordination
* Supervise and develop Finance team members while promoting accuracy, accountability, and collaboration
* Improve finance systems, reporting tools, workflows, automation, and cross-departmental processes
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in accounting, finance, commerce, business administration, hospitality, or related domain is ideal
* 4-6 years of progressive accounting or finance experience (hotel or hospitality environment is a plus)
* Understanding of hotel accounting, financial reporting, AP, AR, GL, cash management, controls, and month-end close
* Proficient in MS Excel
* Business level Japanese (JLPT N3+); fluent level English
Preferred requirements:
* Experience with PMS such as Opera and accounting systems such as Oracle
* Proven supervisory or team leadership experience
* Understanding of US-GAAP, JP-GAAP, local statutory requirements, tax, and employment-related regulations
* Possess valid accounting designation or Nissho Boki qualification
