A multinational entertainment company is looking for an Accounting Director - Revenue Accounting/AR, AP & Treasury.Responsibilities:
* Lead Revenue Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Treasury operations
* Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including quality and risk management
* Review and approve key account balances, cash receipts, disbursements, payment activities, and cash flow management
* Develop and maintain team structures, workload allocation, and backup frameworks
* Ensure compliance with US GAAP, group policies, and internal accounting standards
* Assess accounting issues related to revenue recognition, treasury transactions, and payment methods
* Manage BPO providers and outsourced service partners to ensure quality and service level compliance
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above
* More than 5 years of experience in accounting at a listed company or a company of comparable size
* More than 5 years of experience in supervising and developing staff
* Possess a valid Japanese Bookkeeping Certification (Nissho Boki 2)
* Proficient in English (TOEIC 800+)
Preferred requirements:
* Experience working in a high-transaction environment such as retail, e-commerce, or ticketing
* Experience in system implementation or process improvement projects
* Data analysis skills using Excel, BI tools, or SQL
* Knowledge of automation tools, ERP systems, Business Intelligence, and AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, and Gemini
* Experience in FP&A
* Possess a valid USCPA, Japanese CPA, or Nissho Boki Level 1 certification
