Responsibilities: - Financial Leadership: Lead all core finance functions, including accounting, FP&A, tax, treasury, and internal controls. - Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with IFRS/Japanese GAAP and manage monthly/annual closings and reporting to global HQ. - Planning & Insights: Drive budgeting/forecasting and provide strategic financial guidance to country and global leadership. - Commercial & Operational Support: Support pricing, reimbursement, tenders, and partner cross‑functionally on product and inventory decisions. - Team & Governance: Lead and develop the finance team, oversee audits, strengthen internal controls, and uphold transparency/ethics standards.

- Experience in the medical device industry with strong understanding of regulatory, reimbursement, and commercial frameworks. - Strong knowledge of IFRS/Japanese GAAP, Japanese tax, FP&A, financial modeling, and closing/audit processes. - Solid command of internal controls, risk management, and compliance with transparency/ethics standards. - Proficiency with ERP systems, advanced Excel, native‑level Japanese, and business‑level English. - Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing finance team within a global matrix environment.
