A multinational commercial vehicle and transportation solutions company is looking for a Procurement Manager.Responsibilities:
* Achieve procurement targets and execute sourcing activities within assigned projects
* Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for new technologies and development initiatives
* Conduct supplier benchmarking and assess sourcing options to optimise cost, quality, and lead time
* Lead RFQ and RFP processes, evaluate supplier quotations, and negotiate pricing and commercial terms
* Define technical and commercial requirements for components, prototypes, and services
* Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance against contractual expectations
* Collaborate with engineering, project management, quality, and internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business objectives
* Support budgeting activities and monitor procurement-related spending
* Conduct market research and data analysis to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
* Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements
* Support category management initiatives and contribute to procurement strategy execution
Requirements:
* 5-10 years of experience in procurement
* Business level Japanese; proficient in English (TOEIC 700+)
