An international building materials company is looking for a Business Controller, Finance / Controlling.Responsibilities:
* Support senior management with financial analysis, reporting, and insights to enable decision-making
* Lead or support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
* Develop financial models and perform analysis to support investment cases and growth initiatives
* Monitor business performance and develop KPI reporting to enhance transparency and performance management
* Act as a business partner to commercial and operational teams and challenge assumptions to improve outcomes
* Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with Group standards
* Identify financial risks and opportunities and communicate findings to management
* Support improvement of financial processes, reporting systems, and internal controls
* Collaborate with regional and Group finance teams to ensure alignment with overall financial strategy
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related discipline
* Several years of experience in controlling, FP&A, commercial finance, management reporting, or similar finance roles
* Experience in business planning, investment analysis, and management decision support
* Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
* Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel capability
* Native level Japanese; business level English
Preferred requirements:
* Experience in multinational or matrix organisations
* Possess a valid professional finance qualification
