【業務内容詳細】
We are seeking an experienced HR leader to serve as the senior HR Business Partner for our client’s Japan organization. This is a hands-on role combining strategic HR leadership with operational execution. The ideal candidate can advise leadership on people strategy while also managing day-to-day HR operations — a true playing manager role.
Reporting to senior HR leadership and based on-site in Japan, you will partner closely with Japan’s leadership team while ensuring smooth local HR operations.
What You'll Do
- Act as the primary HR Business Partner to Japan business leaders, advising on people strategy, organizational design, culture, and change management
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations in Japan, including hands-on execution of HR programs and employee support
- Implement global and regional HR strategies in line with Japanese labor law and local practices
- Support leaders across talent management, performance management, development, and employee relations
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver effective HR solutions
- Lead labor relations activities, including union engagement where applicable, and manage people-related risks
- Promote a culture of inclusion, integrity, engagement, and continuous improvement
- Ensure strong HR governance, compliance, and data quality
- Support regional and global HR projects and transformation initiatives

- 必須

- Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior HRBP or country HR leadership — with a track record of staying close to the work, not just directing it
- Deep knowledge of Japanese labor law, employment regulations, and local HR practice
- Proven ability to operate as both a strategic advisor and a hands-on HR practitioner — you are comfortable doing, not just leading
- Strong coaching and influencing skills with People Leaders at all levels
- Comfortable operating in a matrixed, global organization with a lean local HR structure
- Business-level fluency in both Japanese and English
- Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally (approx. 10–20%)
