仕事内容: Data Center Facilities Engineer
•Lead operations, maintenance, and upgrades of mechanical and electrical systems—including chillers, CRAH/CRAC, cooling towers, pumps, UPS, generators, PDUs, ATS/STS, and building automation systems.
•Monitor and optimize power and cooling capacity utilization while supporting regional capacity forecasting and budget planning.
•Oversee installation, commissioning, and vendor management for infrastructure projects at non RDC labs and facilities.
•On-call duties required after normal working hours, in case of emergency.
•Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and develop preventative measures to ensure operational reliability.
•Create and maintain SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs along with emergency response documentation; train junior engineers and technicians.
•Support international projects as required, including occasional global travel to Siemens data center sites for project handovers, audits, or escalations.

応募資格

必須: •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical field).
•Over 7 years’ hands on experience in operating and maintaining mechanical infrastructure in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
•Strong understanding of electrical systems, including UPS operation, power distribution, and generator controls.
•Fluency in English and Japanese (JLPT N2 or equivalent, TOEIC 800+).
•Excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
•Experience collaborating with vendors, contractors, and global teams.

歓迎: •Background in hyperscale or large colocation data centers.
•Certifications such as CDCP, CDFOM, AOS, or Japanese licenses (Chief Electrical Engineer, Refrigeration Supervisor).
•Familiarity with DCIM tools, BMS, and environmental monitoring systems.
•Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as part of an on call roster.
•Willingness to travel internationally to support projects and global initiatives.
