A multinational industrial manufacturing company is looking for a Sales Manager - Strapping and Wrapping Machines.Responsibilities:
* Lead sales of strapping and wrapping machines, consumables, load-securing systems, and related parts and services across multiple market segments
* Manage end-to-end sales activities, including pipeline development, new business acquisition, and channel expansion
* Develop and execute sales strategies and tactical plans aligned with local management targets
* Build, maintain, and expand strong customer relationships while actively acquiring new accounts
* Manage sales projects from initial inquiry through quotation, negotiation, contract closure, and final payment
* Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and technical demonstrations
* Prepare project calculations, quotations, sales forecasts, and visit reports
* Coordinate and manage partners for indirect sales and related stakeholders
* Lead contract negotiations independently in alignment with management guidelines
* Collaborate with regional and global teams on technical clarifications during quotation phases
Requirements:
* More than 5 years of proven sales experience in industrial machinery
* Experience managing complex sales cycles and customer-facing commercial activities
* Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools with strong presentation and negotiation skills
* Ability and willingness to travel within Japan and internationally
* Native level Japanese; business level English
Preferred requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Marketing, or a related field
* Sales experience within the packaging industry
