As a SW Project Lead at Harman you are responsible for successfully running the Software part of our Telematic Projects and ensure project deliveries in time budget and quality. You are the face to the customer for all SW topics. You are orchestrating the virtual cross functional global SW project team.
What you will do
Deliver next generation Telematic Units to the customer.
Act as / Be the face to the customer for all SW related topics.
Orchestrate virtual cross functional global project teams.
Plan monitor control and track the software project to achieve the goals with respect to schedule effort product quality and process quality in a timely manner.
Represent the program internally and externally to senior management

Assure that all software project team members understand the product understand their roles in the project organization and accept their responsibilities.

What You Need
University degree in engineering （Electrical Engineering Information Technology Computer Science） or Business Administration or appropriate graduation
Fluent Japanese （Level 2） and Business English.
Expert knowledge in project management and coordination in a globally distributed development environment （Waterfall Agile）.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Global mindset teamwork in a multi location team enterprise approach.
Knowledge of process models （e.g. Automotive SPICER CMMI）.
Ability to understand complex systems to break down and structure into reasonable parts so dependencies become visible describable and thus manageable.
