A multinational consumer goods company is looking for a Supply Chain Manager.Responsibilities:
* Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory alignment
* Manage demand and supply planning to maintain optimal stock levels and minimise write-offs
* Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and last-mile delivery, to ensure OTIF performance
* Develop and coach the local supply chain team to foster a high-performance and inclusive culture
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field
* Experience in supply chain management, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods
* Understanding of Japan's logistics landscape, customs regulations, and local warehousing practices
* Experience with cross-functional team leadership and managing external partnerships
* Fluent level written and verbal Japanese and English
Preferred requirements:
* Experience with Asia-Pacific regional supply chain operations or triangulation flows
* Experience in digital transformation or process automation
* Exposure to sustainability initiatives in the supply chain, such as green logistics or waste reduction
* Proficiency with SAP (ECC/APO), Power BI, and supply chain planning tools
