A global biopharmaceutical company is looking for an Accounting Manager.Responsibilities:
* Perform general accounting activities, including ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
* Record, analyse, and report accounting transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
* Conduct or assist in the documentation of accounting projects
* Book invoices, validate payments, and reconcile bank accounts
* Prepare VAT returns, manage accounts receivable/payable, and maintain financial reports
* Oversee inventory, stock reconciliation, COGS, reserves, deferred income, prepaid expenses, and asset management
* Post IFRS 16 lease liabilities, loan interest, and personal costs
* Prepare management sales reports and maintain supplier master data
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience
* Experience in general accounting, cost accounting, inventory management, VAT, and tax
* Experience with SAP/Concur implementation in corporate environments
* Experience with SAP, Hyperion, and multi-currency transactions
* Knowledge of auditing practices and accounting principles
* Proficient in MS Office Suite
* Native level Japanese; business level English
