■Job Summary:
The EHS Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the safety health and environmental standards within the organization. Located at the Tsukuba Plant in Ibaraki Prefecture the EHS Manager will design implement and continuously improve programs to ensure employee health and safety and compliance with all relevant regulatory agencies. Reporting to the plant manager this role involves close collaboration with the EHS global team Human Resource Managers and other stakeholders to create organizational buy in and drive positive change. ■Requirements:
・Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science Occupational Health and Safety Engineering or a related field or equivalent knowledge.
・Experience in audit process of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
・10+ years of experience in EHS management with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
・Strong knowledge of EHS regulations best practices waste management air emissions industrial hygiene process safety and safety/environmental laws
・Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
・Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
・Japanese and English communication skills.
・環境科学、労働安全衛生、工学若しくは関連分野の学士号又はこれと同等の知識。
・ISO 14001及びISO 45001の監査に関する経験。
・EHS管理における10年以上の経験と、5年以上のリーダー職の経験。
