A global electronic components manufacturer is looking for a Supplier Quality Manager.Responsibilities:
* Partner with engineering and sourcing to align supplier strategy with new product development needs
* Identify, research, and assess potential new suppliers through market and industry channels
* Conduct supplier visits, evaluations, and capability assessments to build strong partnerships
* Lead supplier onboarding and early-stage development while monitoring initial project performance
* Coordinate communication between regional suppliers and global engineering teams across time zones
* Track project status, manage risks, prepare reports, and escalate issues to management
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, business or a related field
* More than 4 years of procurement/sourcing experience
* More than 4 years of supply chain planning or engineering
* Experience with business practices in the Asia Pacific region (Vietnam, China, South Korea, etc.)
* Prior experience working with American Companies
* Proficient in MS Office Suite
* Professional level Japanese; proficient in English and Mandarin
Preferred requirements:
* Experience in precision machining, injection molding and metal stamping
* Possess valid certification in supply chain (APICS CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent)
