A multinational automotive technology company is looking for a Customer Order Desk Manager.Responsibilities:
* Lead and monitor daily operations of the SCM customer order desk team
* Manage, coach, and develop team members through performance dialogue and goal setting
* Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement process improvements
* Interface with business area stakeholders and management on SCM and logistics issues
* Analyse monthly KPIs and prepare performance and budget comparison reports
* Drive excess and obsolete stock reduction and align scrap practices with stakeholders
* Build strong relationships with customers and logistics partners to deliver solutions
* Develop succession plans and nurture future leaders within the team
* Take accountability for COD performance and manage shortage risks during critical SCM situations
Requirements:
* Expertise in volume planning and logistics processes
* Experience in customer-facing communication and stakeholder coordination
* Proven experience in project management
* Proven experience in problem-solving and process improvement
* Professional level Japanese; business level English
