A renowned life science company is looking for an Accounting Manager.Responsibilities:
* Maintain and update financial records including AP/AR, intercompany balances, and general ledger in IFRS and local GAAP
* Manage month-, quarter-, and year-end financial close ensuring statement accuracy
* Collaborate with finance shared service team to standardise reporting and practices
* Lead tax provision preparation and ensure compliance with local and international regulations
* Coordinate internal and external audits providing documentation and reconciliations
* Implement and monitor internal controls and investigate financial variances
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in accounting, finance, or a related field
* More than 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment
* Understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards, including IFRS and J-GAAP
* Proficient in MS Office Suite
* Familiarity with SAP (must) or other ERP systems
* Professional level Japanese and English
Nice to have:
* Possess valid CPA certification
