An international educational organisation is seeking a Compensation & Benefits ManagerResponsibilities:
* Manage monthly payroll instructions and employee in/out processes, including changes and seasonal stipends
* Conduct salary market surveys and define compensation benchmarks for various employment types
* Ensure compensation and benefits practices comply with current laws and regulations
* Oversee overseas payroll, annual salary calculations, year-end tax filing, and employee communication
* Manage payroll for summer day camp and substitute staff
* Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS and Veracross systems
* Issue annual employee contracts and manage expense processes using Concur
* Support year-end tax filing and perform additional HR administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
* Practical experience in HR operations with knowledge of best practices
* Experience managing payments, expenditures, and confidential information
* Good understanding of the full-cycle Japanese annual salary payment process
* Familiarity with employment rules and regulations
* Proficient in Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot functions
* Advanced proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
* Fluent level Japanese; business level written and verbal English
Preferred requirements:
* 3-5 years of experience as a compensation and benefits specialist
* Experience in managing payments and expenditures
