A multinational energy company is looking for a Civil and Structural Engineer.Responsibilities:
* Design, review, and optimise civil and structural components for solar, wind, and BESS projects
* Conduct site evaluations using surveys, drone mapping, shadow analysis, and quality inspections
* Integrate geotechnical findings into slope stability and foundation designs and recommend mitigation strategies
* Prepare civil and structural drawings, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates to support procurement and budgeting
* Ensure compliance with local, prefectural, and national engineering codes and standards
* Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers throughout the EPC lifecycle to align on design standards and deliverables
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in Civil or Structural Engineering
* More than 4 years of civil or structural engineering experience
* More than 2 years of experience in renewable energy
* Experience managing external construction companies
* Proficient in construction standards, best practices, and quality inspection procedures
* Concrete experience with utility-scale wind, solar, and storage assets
* Experience with engineering software such as Excel, AutoCAD, Civil3D, QGIS, StaadPro, SAP2000, JW CAD, Revit, Python or equivalent
* Proficient in English and Japanese
