A global non-profit organisation is looking for a Communication Manager.Responsibilities:
* Shape and implement long-term communications strategies aligned with program goals
* Oversee campaign communications planning and execution across the region
* Monitor industry and media trends and identify opportunities to strengthen influence
* Provide strategic direction on communications and engagement for campaign projects
* Lead proactive and reactive media work to strengthen visibility and credibility
* Build strong relationships with media, influencers, and internal teams
* Prepare written materials, deliver presentations, and support public speaking engagements
* Develop and execute communications and engagement strategies supporting campaign and organisational objectives
* Manage and motivate a communications team; assign responsibilities, guide project work, and identify training needs
* Offer expertise across communication areas and advise leadership on internal and external issues
* Ensure consistent, high-quality communication outputs that protect reputation
* Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure financial procedures are followed
Requirements:
* Strong expertise with communication tools and software
* Deep knowledge of communication trends, particularly digital and social media
* Ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and navigate sensitive information with discretion
* Strategic, innovative, and able to align communication work with organisational and campaign priorities
* Fluent level Japanese; business level English
